This international symposium brings together four of the world’s highest-volume vocal feminization surgeons representing East Asia, Western Europe, South America, and the Eastern Mediterranean region. Presented on behalf of the International Association of Transgender Voice Surgeons (IATVS), the panel will review emerging standards in feminizing voice surgery. Faculty will compare endoscopic and externally-based techniques, discuss indications, technical nuances, complication management, and outcome assessment, and highlight evidence-based perioperative care pathways. Attendees can expect a rigorous, globally informed discussion focused on improving safety, consistency, and long-term vocal outcomes in gender-affirming voice surgery.

  • Compare international surgical techniques and approaches currently available for gender affirming voice surgery.
  • Implement consensus-based perioperative and postoperative measurements to ensure safety and vocal outcomes.
  • Contrast the challenges presented by various regions internationally in the care of the gender diverse voice patient.
