Dr. Meiklejohn is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of New Mexico. He received his M.D. from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth University and completed his residency training at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and has been on the faculty of the University of New Mexico since 2015, where he is the residency Program Director and the head of General Otolaryngology. He is a founding member and Vice Chair of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Environmental and Sustainability Task Force, a member of the UNM Hospital Committee on Sustainability, and a Faculty Researcher with the New Mexico Transportation Center. He has served on the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Socioeconomic and Grassroots Committee, and is a past President of the New Mexico Society of Otolaryngology. His research focuses on the environmental impact of the provision of medical and surgical care.
