Kirsten Meenan, M.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, completed her residency at the University of Maryland, and completed her laryngology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her expertise and passion lie in the management and research of airway and breathing disorders, such as tracheal, subglottic, and posterior glottic stenosis. Dr. Meenan is also highly trained in the management of voice conditions; she performs laryngeal reinnervation surgery for vocal fold paralysis and selective laryngeal adductor denervation-reinnervation (SLAD-R) surgery for laryngeal dystonia. Dr. Meenan also treats swallowing disorders such as Zenker's diverticulum and is trained in transnasal esophagoscopy.
