Eli R. Groppo, MD is the President and managing partner at Sacramento Ear, Nose & Throat, a physician-owned private practice with 23 physicians operating out of 7 locations in the Sacramento region. Dr. Groppo received his medical training at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Groppo has served in various leadership positions at Sacramento area hospitals and physician associations. He is currently serves on the board of the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society and is the Chief of Otolaryngology with both Hill Physicians and the Sutter Physicians Alliance. He serves as clinical faculty for the Sutter Roseville General Surgery Residency Program, the Dignity Family Medicine Residency Program and California Northstate College of Medicine. Nationally, he is involved with the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. He currently holds to role of Chair Elect of the Otolaryngology Private Practice Section (OPPS) and serves on the Board of Governors.
