Dr. Jacqueline Alvarado, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, serves as the Treasurer of the Pan American Association of Otorhinolaryngology and as the Pan-American Liaison to the American Academy of Otolaryngology–HNS. She is also the Immediate Past President of the Pan American Association of Otorhinolaryngology.
She completed her Pediatrics residency and postgraduate training in Otolaryngology at the Central University of Venezuela, followed by an otology fellowship at the University of Bellvitge in Barcelona, Spain, and a mini-fellowship in rhinology at Emory University in Atlanta.
An international speaker in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Alvarado is a former Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Caracas and an adjunct professor at the Central University of Venezuela. She is also the Past President of both the Venezuelan Otorhinolaryngology Society and the Venezuelan Association of Craniofacial Anomalies.
Her research focuses on pediatric rhinosinusitis, pediatric otology, and the development of otorhinolaryngology in Latin America
