Dr. Hongzhao Ji, MD, MSHI is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Miami, followed by residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern, where he also earned a Master of Science in Health Informatics.
His clinical and academic interests include surgical informatics, sleep surgery, and salivary gland surgery. He has led and contributed to a variety of informatics initiatives at his institution, focusing on the integration of data and technology tools to enhance surgical workflows. He will also be sharing his experience with change management around operative and perioperative spaces, which can be among the most difficult to navigate in a healthcare system.
