Chadi A Makary, MD is a Professor of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at West Virginia University, Morgantown WV. He currently serves as the Chief of Rhinology and Vice Chair of Clinical Services at WVU Medicine. Dr. Makary received his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at West Virginia University, followed by a fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia–Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. His clinical practice focuses on the comprehensive medical and surgical management of sinonasal disorders, including chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, recurrent acute rhinosinusitis, sinonasal tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and endoscopic anterior skull base surgery in both adult and pediatric patients. He is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and the American College of Surgeons. He is committed to advancing rhinologic care through clinical excellence, innovation, research, surgical education, and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
