Maaz S. Haji is a fourth-year medical student at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and will be applying for otolaryngology residency this fall. He completed a dedicated research year at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine focused on the role of cognitive processing in speech-in-noise performance in the context of hearing loss. His research interests include hearing-related cognition, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, and outcomes research using large database studies. He is passionate about academic otolaryngology, mentorship, and improving patient care through clinically meaningful research.
