Dr. Julia Noel is the chief of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery ar Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and an affiliate Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a California native, having completed her residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery as well as dedicated fellowship in Endocrine Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Noel specializes in surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and has achieved recognition with the Adult Complex Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Focued Practice Designation. She has additional expertise and interest in advanced and recurrent thyroid cancer, minimally invasive approaches, and ultrasound guided therapies. She is a leading expert in thyroid ablation, and has contributed to numerous guidelines and consensus statements. She serves on the editorial board for Video Endocrinology and the executive council for the North American Society for Interventional Thyroidology.
