Andrew Palmer is currently an Associate Professor at Oregon Health and Science University's NW Center for Voice and Swallowing in the Dept. of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and has been at OHSU since completing his Clinical Fellowship there in 2001. He earned his master's degree in communicative disorders at San Francisco State University and completed his Ph.D. at Portland State University. His clinical focus is in the area of head and neck cancer rehabilitation and dysphagia. Research interests include aging and social relationships, normal and disordered swallowing, and rehabilitation outcomes in voice and swallowing.
