AJ (Anna) Flaherty, MD, is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. As a subspecialist trained in head and neck surgery, facial plastic surgery, and laryngology, Dr. Flaherty is uniquely equipped to assist transgender and non-binary patients with gender affirmation specific to the face and voice. Dr. Flaherty has been invited to speak on these topics numerous times in the past, notably at California Polytechnic State University in 2020 and at the University of Washington in 2021. Dr. Flaherty is genderqueer and uses they/them pronouns.
