David Myssiorek, MD, FACS, is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist and a Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist- at Bronxcare Health Systems, Bronx, New York where he is the director of Head and Neck Surgery. He has been in practice at teaching hospitals for more than 35 years. He serves on the editorial boards of two major journals and is a reviewer for several other journals. Dr. Myssiorek is a member of the American Head and Neck Society’s Endocrine Surgery committee. He is a ThyCa Medical Advisor and is the author of numerous articles on thyroid cancer surgery and other head and neck surgery. His personal interests medically are Paraganglioma treatment, endocrine surgery, Zenker diverticulum management, and salivary gland surgery.
