Vaninder K Dhillon MD FACS is a dual fellowship trained laryngologist and head and neck endocrine surgeon and is an Associate Professor in Otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins University in the National Capital Region, in Washington DC and Bethesda Maryland. She is clinically active in treating voice and swallow issues, chronic cough as well as parathyroid and thyroid related disease. Her clinical interests include vocal fold paralysis and voice and swallow outcomes after endocrine surgery as well as quality of life in patients with thyroid cancer. She is an active member in the ablative technology and treatment of patients with ablation for thyroid disease. She also is working on furthering treatment for patients with laryngeal dysfunction after endocrine surgery including superior laryngeal nerve block for chronic cough and chronic laryngeal hypersensitivity.
