Michael M. Li is a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon and Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at UC Davis Health. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed residency and fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction at the Ohio State University James Cancer Center. He provides comprehensive care for benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, with clinical expertise in transoral robotic surgery, skull base surgery, endocrine surgery, skin cancer, and microvascular reconstruction. His clinical and translational research interests focus on improving outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer, including treatment optimization for oropharyngeal cancer, 3D-printing applications in surgery, and advances in reconstructive techniques.
