Professor Yao-Te Tsai is Professor and Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Chiayi Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, where he also serves as Chief of the Head and Neck Cancer Team. After earning his medical degree from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and completing residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, he pursued a career focused on head and neck oncology.
Professor Tsai specializes in oral cancer surgery and comprehensive head and neck cancer care. His research focuses on survivorship and quality-of-life outcomes, prognostic biomarker development, sarcopenia and nutritional assessment in cancer patients, and computational modeling of sinonasal airflow dynamics. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has been actively involved in advancing clinical and translational research in head and neck oncology.
