Andrea Plawecki, MD, is a faculty member and clinical assistant professor in the department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, as well as the Sleep Disorders and Research Center, at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI. She is dual-board certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine, having completed her residency at Henry Ford and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Her clinical and research interests include surgical treatments and personalized care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea, as well as improving quality of multidisciplinary collaboration for otolaryngologic conditions and sleep disorders. Her work has resulted in the development of a care pathway model for OSA patients at her institution, particularly for those seeking PAP alternatives. She is also actively involved in development of educational initiatives for the Henry Ford Sleep Medicine fellowship program, as well as leading an annual Multidisciplinary OSA Symposium.
