Frank G. Garritano, MD, is a double board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with The Permanente Medical Group in Northern California. After earning his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed his residency at Penn State University and a facial plastic surgery fellowship at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery in Rochester, NY. His East Bay practice focuses on functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, facial skin cancer and Mohs reconstruction, and a comprehensive range of surgical and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. A dedicated clinical leader, Dr. Garritano serves on multiple national committees for the AAO-HNS/F and the AAFPRS, and is actively engaged in healthcare communication and physician ambassador work.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Garritano resides in San Mateo with his mixed-breed rescue dog, Cooper. An active RYT-200 yoga instructor working toward his 500-hour certification, he is also an avid weightlifter and a PADI-certified scuba diver who enjoys hiking, gardening, photography, reading, and exploring the region's diverse culinary scene.
