Emily Kwon, BA, is a fourth-year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS), who completed a scholar's year at Rutgers NJMS. She earned her BA in Neuroscience from Amherst College. Before her medical studies, Emily was a Fulbright Scholar in Taiwan, where she taught English to elementary school students for two years, demonstrating her commitment to international engagement. She aspires to specialize in otolaryngology, driven by a desire to improve the quality of life for individuals facing swallowing difficulties, airway disorders, and hearing loss. Emily is also interested in enhancing graduate medical education. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing the violin, and engaging in strategic board games like Catan.
