Lourdes Kaufman is a third-year medical student and aspiring otolaryngologist at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her B.A. in Human Evolutionary Biology and Chemistry at Harvard College in 2020. She spent two years before medical school working in healthcare and life sciences consulting. In medical school, she works in the UCSF Sound and Music Perception Lab with Dr. Nicole T. Jiam, M.D., with a research interest in understanding health inequities in otolaryngology and bridging gaps in care.
