Ernest D. Gomez, MD, MTR is an Otolaryngologist specializing in Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, Skull Base Surgery, and Transoral Robotic Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, MA. He is an Instructor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is chair-elect of the Academy's Simulation Education Committee. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Guidelines and Position Statements Service of the American Head and Neck Society. He currently holds the position of Director of Surgical Education Technology and Innovation for the BIDMC Simulation and Skills Center.
