Michael Cohen, MD is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and an attending surgroen at the VA Medical Center - Boston, practicing General Otolaryngology with a focus on the surgical treatment of OSA in both adults and children. He serves on the VA's Otolaryngology Surgery Advisory Board, and serves as the ENT lead for the New England VA region. Research interests are focused on sleep apnea and snoring, as well as social determinants of health, but his main interest is in resident and medical student education.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cornell University and graduated from medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Boston Medical Center in 2014, and joined the faculty upon graduating.
