Arun Rajan, BS, is an M.D. candidate at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Sociology at Baylor University. His research interests include clinical outcomes, innovation, and emerging technologies in otolaryngology, with a particular focus on using clinical research and advanced imaging methods to improve surgical outcomes and enable earlier detection of head and neck cancers. In addition to his research, he is actively involved in medical innovation initiatives and STEM mentorship programs, where he teaches and supports younger students in developing interests in science, medicine, and research.
