Shuba Iyengar

Dr. Shuba Iyengar, MD, MPH, is a board-certified allergist-immunologist, practicing physician, former academic researcher, and Chief Medical Officer of Allermi. She is passionate about making allergy care more accessible, affordable, and effective through customized treatments that help patients find lasting relief and improve their quality of life. Dr. Iyengar graduated from UC Berkeley, earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and her MPH from UNC, completed a research fellowship at the NIH, residency at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, and allergy-immunology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She later returned to the Bay Area, where she helped lead an allergy practice within a large multispecialty health system.
