Brooke Yaffe, MD, is a resident physician at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) with research interests focused on improving outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer. Her current work explores quality of life, decision regret, and clinical outcomes among head and neck cancer patients, as well as the tumor immune microenvironment and mechanisms of immune evasion in HPV-negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. She is interested in advancing personalized approaches to cancer treatment by integrating patient-centered outcomes research with translational investigation of tumor biology and therapeutic resistance.
