Charlotte Chan is a second-year medical student at UC Irvine School of Medicine interested in pursuing a career in otolaryngology. Working with mentors Dr. Mehdi Abouzari and Dr. Hamid Djalilian, her research evaluates the relationship between patient BMI and postoperative CSF leakage after vestibular schwannoma surgery. She is passionate about quality-of-life outcomes and health equity.
