Cyrus C. Rabbani, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He serves as Division Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he leads clinical, academic, and educational initiatives. Dr. Rabbani completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins University and his residency in Otolaryngology at Indiana University.
Nationally recognized for his expertise in facial reanimation, aesthetic and reconstructive facial surgery- Dr. Rabbani is a frequent invited speaker and expert panelist at international meetings and contributes actively to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His robust publication portfolio spans high-impact journals, and he has authored multiple textbook chapters on facial reconstruction techniques.
Dr. Rabbani is a dedicated educator, directing resident workshops and curriculum development at Unviersity Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University Otolaryngology Residency. He has mentored numerous residents and medical students, many of whom have gone on to successful academic and clinical careers. His clinical and academic efforts are deeply intertwined with community service, including leading head and neck cancer screening stations at Cleveland’s Homeless Stand Down.
His research interests include surgical outcomes in facial plastic surgery, facial nerve disorders, reconstructive techniques, and innovations in gender-affirming facial surgery. He continues to advance the field through peer-reviewed publications, ongoing research, and international collaboration.
