Lucas Ratiani is a fourth-year medical student at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences with a strong interest in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, with a particular emphasis on pathways governing tumor differentiation and translational therapeutics. He plans to pursue residency training in this field, with a commitment to integrating clinical care and translational research in academic otolaryngology.
