Ana Lía Flaviá is a medical student at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with academic interests in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, rhinology, allergy, and sleep medicine. She serves as Coordinator of the UNIBE Otolaryngology Interest Group, where she helps organize educational activities, clinical case discussions, and physician-led lectures for medical students. Her current academic work focuses on allergic rhinitis in tropical climates, particularly the influence of perennial aeroallergens, humidity, and environmental factors in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean. She is passionate about medical education, research, and promoting student involvement in otolaryngology.
