Medical Student
Howard University College of Medicine
My name is Oluebubechukwu Eze, B.S. and B.S.N., a fourth-year medical student (MS4) at Howard University College of Medicine, where my research focuses on population-level surgical and otolaryngologic outcomes using large real-world health record networks. My research interests lie at the intersection of public health and otolaryngology, with a focus on health outcomes research, surgical complication epidemiology, and expanding the evidence base for facial trauma management. Working with the Division of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Adedoyin Kalejaiye, my current work uses the TriNetX Global Collaborative Network to compare postoperative outcomes between open and closed nasal fracture reduction across more than 9,000 propensity-matched patients, one of the largest comparative analyses of its kind to date. I look forward to presenting this poster at the 2026 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO Experience in Los Angeles, CA.
