Natasha Andreasen, BS, is a fourth-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine pursuing a career in academic otolaryngology–head and neck surgery with interests in neurotology, vestibular disorders, and head and neck oncology. Her research focuses on vestibular function, spatial orientation, balance, and hearing outcomes in older adults, with additional scholarly work examining hearing-related quality of life and surgical outcomes in otology. She has contributed to ongoing collaborative research aimed at improving the diagnosis, management, and functional outcomes of patients with otologic and vestibular disorders. Beyond her research, Natasha serves as President of the Duke chapter of the Association of Women Surgeons, where she leads initiatives focused on mentorship, professional development, and fostering a culture of belonging within medicine. She is committed to integrating clinical excellence, scientific inquiry, and surgical education throughout her career as an academic otolaryngologist.
