Having received a degree in Biomedical Engineering prior to a Doctorate in Medicine, my research interests have also focused on translational basic science and bioengineering otologic research. Current projects include examining acoustic trauma related to otologic procedures, safety aspects of inner ear endoscopy, 3D printed modelling of the temporal bone and pharynx for use in trainee education, and robotic applications for ear surgery.
