Haley Fonceca is a fourth-year medical student at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine with interests in general surgery, trauma surgery, and otolaryngology research. She has presented research at regional and national conferences and has contributed to projects focused on trauma outcomes and surgical education. In addition to her research, she serves in national leadership with the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Medical Student Section, where she develops educational programming and mentors medical students pursuing surgical careers. She plans to pursue a residency in general surgery and continue contributing to clinical research and medical education.
