Maggie McCalla, third-year medical student at the University of Kansas Medical Center, is currently pursuing her medical degree with interests in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, particularly Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology. Her clinical and research interests include facial paralysis, facial nerve rehabilitation, and the relationship between mental health and multisensory function, with a particular focus on olfaction. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, crocheting, baking, and completing jigsaw puzzles.
