Dr. Srivatsa Surya Vasudevan, MD, MS, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at LSU Health Shreveport with over four years of experience in head and neck oncology research. His work is primarily focused on advancing the understanding and application of immunotherapy in head and neck cancers, with a particular emphasis on sinonasal malignancies and other complex head and neck tumors. His research interests include treatment outcomes, translational oncology, biomarker discovery, and the integration of novel immunotherapeutic approaches into clinical practice.
Dr. Vasudevan has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is actively engaged in collaborative research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer. His long-term academic goal is to contribute high-impact research to the field and publish in the leading otolaryngology–head and neck surgery journals worldwide. Through his work, he seeks to advance evidence-based care and drive innovation in the management of head and neck malignancies.
Outside of research, Dr. Vasudevan is passionate about academic mentorship, scientific collaboration, and fostering international partnerships in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.
