Saketh Bathula is a medical student at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio. His research focuses on the role of epigenetic alterations in cancer biology, with a particular interest in understanding how epigenetic regulators influence tumor development, progression, and therapeutic response in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. He is a research assistant in the Department of Cell and Cancer Biology, where he investigates molecular mechanisms that may serve as future biomarkers and therapeutic targets in head and neck cancer. In addition to his research activities, Saketh serves as Vice President of the Otolaryngology Student ENTerest Group and is actively involved in mentoring and educational initiatives that promote early exposure to Otolaryngology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented research at regional and national scientific meetings.
