Luiza Rosa Cogo is a fourth-year medical student at Universidade do Vale do Taquari (Univates), Brazil. She has a strong interest in otolaryngology, with particular interests in otology, rhinology, and sleep medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research, focusing on systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and has presented her work at national and international scientific meetings. Luiza also serves as a surgical skills teaching assistant at Univates and is an active participant in student leadership initiatives. She recently completed a clinical observership in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she expanded her exposure to academic otolaryngology and multidisciplinary patient care. She aspires to pursue a career in academic otolaryngology, combining clinical practice, research, and medical education.
