Matthew Herbst is a 4th-year medical student from the Medical University of South Carolina pursuing Otolaryngology. His research interests focus on sleep surgery, including maxillomandibular advancement and upper airway stimulation for ttreatment of obstructive sleep apnea. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning degrees in biology and philosophy.
