UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine
Tereza Vitkovska is an MD candidate at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Stony Brook University. Her research spans both basic science and clinical medicine, with a focus on laryngeal reinnervation and neuromuscular junction morphology, treatments modifying laryngotracheal stenosis, and outcomes in HPV-associated tonsillar squamous cell carcinoma. At the AAO-HNSF 2026 Annual Meeting, Tereza will be presenting her current research. She aspires to build a career that integrates surgical practice with translational research, allowing her to move fluidly between the bench and the operating room. Looking ahead, she is also dedicated to contributing to head and neck surgical humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
