Krista Schoppy, MD, MS, is a pediatric otolaryngologist and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Prior to joining the UCSF faculty, she practiced pediatric otolaryngology in Hawai‘i for seven years, where she helped provide specialized pediatric ENT care throughout the state and served in multiple clinical leadership roles. Her clinical and research interests include congenital hearing loss, pediatric sleep-disordered breathing, health disparities, and community-engaged research. She is the Principal Investigator of an NIH-supported Ola HAWAII grant investigating ethnic differences in perceptions of snoring and sleep-disordered breathing among Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Filipino communities. Dr. Schoppy is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery History and Archives Committee and is committed to advancing pediatric otolaryngology through research, education, and advocacy.
