Cholesteatoma can pose significant challenge with many possible manifestations, ranging from limited attic and epitympanic disease to labyrinthine fistulas or tegmen erosion. This panel will include surgeons with expertise in endoscopic, canal wall up mastoidectomy, canal wall reconstruction and canal wall down/mastoid obliteration techniques. In addition to case discussions, the panel will include in depth discussion of each of these different techniques. At the end of the panel, the audience should have a better grasp of different options for handling various challenging situations in cholesteatoma, which situations favor different approaches as well as their potential advantages and disadvantage.
