In this session we will present the use of FEES and MBSS in ENT outpatient clinic. We will present the literature, guidelines, billing options and role of SLP with performing these studies in outpatient ENT clinic through interactive discussion and case examples.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify and differentiate between oropharyngeal and esophageal diagnostic workup
2. Explain and compare between oropharyngeal instrumental studies : Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) and videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) also known as modified barium swallow study (MBSS)
3. Explain how to implement FEES and MBSS/VFSS in your ENT practice (SLP, billing, etc)
