This is a didactics lecture that will describe and identify some of the more unusual oral conditions that present to the otolaryngologist. The speakers will help learners to identify signs and symptoms of systemic illness associated with oral cavity mucosal lesions. After the lecture, participants will understand the management of pre-malignant oral lesions, the role for screening and biopsy, and novel approaches to preventing progression of oral dysplasia to carcinoma.
