Attendees will learn about the differential diagnosis of episodic dizziness, including comorbid and overlapping conditions. They will be introduced to general strategies for nonpharmacologic management. Finally, they will be presented with a comprehensive array of pharmacologic treatment strategies for patients failing conservative management.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the diagnostic criteria for vestibular migraine and the limitations of current consensus criteria.
Discuss comorbid conditions, including Meniere’s disease and persistent postural perceptual dizziness.
Describe pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment as well as the importance of treating comorbidities (including sleep apnea, anxiety).
