This panel will provide comprehensive guidelines and algorithms for otolaryngologists to efficiently manage patients with chronic cough. We will review medical management options beyond standard treatments for asthma, acid reflux, allergies, and chronic rhinosinusitis. We will spend the majority of the presentation looking beyond asthma, allergies, and acid reflux, with emphasis on neuromodulators and behavioral cough suppression therapy. Additionally, we will discuss techniques and new evidence supporting office-based procedures for chronic cough, including superior laryngeal nerve blocks and vocal fold injection augmentation.

Learning Objectives:

Provide comprehensive otolaryngologists guidelines and algorithms to efficiently manage patients with chronic cough.
Review medical management for chronic cough, aside from medical treatment of asthma, acid reflux, allergy, and chronic rhinosinusitis, in particular neuromodulators, and behavioral cough suppression therapy.
Discuss techniques and new evidence in support of office-based procedures chronic cough, including superior laryngeal nerve blocks and vocal fold injection augmentation.
