Jennifer M. Brookins, MBA, serves as Vice Chair of Administration for the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Florida. With more than 20 years of experience in academic medicine, she provides executive leadership for clinical operations, finance, strategic planning, faculty affairs, and administrative services across a large, multi-specialty academic otolaryngology practice.
Jennifer oversees operational initiatives that support patient access, practice growth, workforce optimization, and financial performance while advancing the department’s clinical, research, and educational missions. She works closely with departmental leadership on physician compensation, faculty recruitment, APP integration, practice transformation, and organizational strategy.
A recognized leader in otolaryngology administration, Jennifer currently serves as Chair of the Academic Practice Committee for the Administrator Support Community for ENT (ASCENT), where she leads national benchmarking and operational initiatives for academic practices. She is passionate about developing sustainable healthcare delivery models, fostering physician and APP engagement, and identifying innovative solutions to the evolving challenges facing academic medical centers.
