Dr. Hae-Young Kim is a senior biostatistician at the Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is also Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School. She has designed, monitored and analyzed data from numerous clinical trials and observational studies as well as laboratory and animal research studies. Her primary research interests focus on the theoretical and practical applications of statistics in biomedical research, particularly in relation to clustered correlated data, survival and longitudinal data analysis, methods for handling rare event studies, and methods in complex large datasets with diverse covariates.
