Michael Singer is the Director of the Division of Thyroid & Parathyroid Surgery at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Singer completed a fellowship in head and neck endocrine surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. A second fellowship in minimally invasive endocrine surgery augmented his experience with minimally invasive, endoscopic and robotic endocrine techniques. His practice is dedicated exclusively to thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Dr. Singer’s research is focused on surgical innovation and the incorporation of emerging technologies to improve surgical outcomes. He has co-edited 2 books on advances in endocrine surgery.
Dr. Singer is active in multiple professional organizations, having served in leadership roles in the American Thyroid Association, American Head & Neck Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and Michigan Association of Endocrinologists. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
