David J. Brown, M.D., is the Associate Dean and Associate Vice President for Health Advancement as well as Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Michigan Medicine.

He joined the U-M faculty in 2011 and is an U-M Global REACH Faculty Associate who collaborates with colleagues at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, Ghana, to bridge otolaryngology educational, technical and research efforts between KATH and the U-M. He is past Chair of the Society of University Otolaryngologists (SUO) Diversity Committee, SUO Immediate past President and past Central Regional Representative for the AAMC Group on Diversity and Inclusion.
