Attending Physician
Naval Medical Center San Diego
After my undergraduate time, I worked in the rat-race for a few years before doing a post-baccalaureate program at Agnes Scott College. From there, I went to medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences as a member of the US Navy. I completed an ENT internship in Portsmouth, VA, and then went to Undersea Medical Officer school where I became a UMO/DMO working with Special Operators and Submariners in Pearl Harbor, HI for four years - it was the best time ever. I then returned to reality where I completed ENT residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, and after graduation was staff and Department Head at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. I returned to the NMCSD Residency Program, and completed my Active Duty time in 2026. I took a position at Duke University Hospital with the residency program and am just getting settled. It has been a wonderful ride!
