Ethan Lawrence, BS, is a fourth-year MD candidate at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Ethan graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Sociology. Ethan’s academic and career pursuits have displayed a fervent commitment to public health and health advocacy in underserved communities. His volunteer experiences have reinforced the importance of understanding how one’s environment, resources, and upbringing can drastically impact an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional health. Ethan’s research in medical school has focused on healthcare disparities, clinical outcomes within otolaryngology, and community engaged initiatives to increase access to hearing healthcare.
